From Contaminated Land to Award-Winning LEED-Certified Housing
Pembroke North Condominium, Wayne, PA—Development
After successfully obtaining a higher-density rezone and developing part of it for the Lenfest Group, we turned the balance of this environmentally compromised site in a Philadelphia Main Line community into the region’s first LEED-certified multifamily housing project, designed by renowned architect Robert Venturi. We developed the 54-unit, $38.8 million project from start to finish: entitlements through design through initial occupancies.
Creating value in underused property
This transit-oriented, highly energy efficient infill project along a busy commercial corridor was a groundbreaking achievement in this market, and received multiple awards for sustainable, smart development from the likes of the Delaware Valley Smart Growth Alliance , the Penn Resources Council, and 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania.
