Richard Kydd
Senior Project Manager
Richard Kydd has over 20 years of experience managing development and construction projects in the corporate, education, healthcare, cultural, correctional, and aviation sectors. At AR Spruce, Rich serves as a Senior Manager, leading key client projects from planning and design through construction and closeout with a keen eye on schedule and budget. On all projects, Rich strives to build strong relationships with key stakeholders while creating a collaborative atmosphere to foster success.
Prior to his current role, Rich worked as a Development Manager with Aegis Property Group where he managed a wide array of construction projects in Philadelphia, PA and Camden, NJ. Key highlights include Mastery Charter School’s new facility in Camden, NJ, Temple University’s Sports Complex at the former William Penn High School Site, and The Philadelphia Museum of Art’s $225M Core Expansion Project. Rich also worked with social impact clients, such as Greene Street Friends School in Germantown, PA.
Before joining Aegis, Rich worked at CBRE | Heery, formerly Heery International, leading agency construction management services for the Phillipsburg School District’s new $85M high school, the Phoenix Facility state correctional institution in Skippack, PA and for the General Services Administration on key federal capital and fit-out projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Rich began his career at Turner Construction in Philadelphia, where her served in various capacities. Rich worked as a Cost Engineer responsible for analyzing and tracking project budgets and as a Project Superintendent/Engineer on projects such as the Philadelphia Airport-Terminal A West Project and the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine.
